Shihan Nichols started karate in 2009 after watching her son take karate for a year at Springville Elementary School. She fell in love with karate the first day. Shihan Nichols achieved the rank of 1st degree black belt December 15, 2012, 2nd Degree in December 2013, 3rd Degree December 2015 and her Yondan, 4th degree, November 18, 2017. Her son is also active in karate and earned his black belt in March 2013.
